Product Description
Coating material that contains specifically chosen cement and aggregates and has high physical and chemical resistances to Biogenic sulfuric acid attack (BSA). It protects the construction such as concrete sewer pipes, wastewater collection systems, and treatment plants against biogenic sulfuric acid corrosion attacks that arise from hydrogen sulfide (H2S).

• In acid tanks,
• In elevator shafts,

Aplication Details
Surface Quality: The surfaces must be clean, smooth, solid and free from all kinds of substances that prevent adhesion, such as dust, oil, dirt, rust, detergent, etc. The weak pieces must be removed from the surface.

Surface Preparation: Cement slurry and weak pieces must be removed from the surface and all dust, oil and rust residuals on the surface must be cleaned. Absorbent surfaces must be wetted before application, but there should not remain any water drops and accumulations on the surface.

Temperature of Surface and Environment: +0 °C - + 40°C

Application Instructions:
Mixing: 2.5 – 3.0 liter clean and clear water at ambient temperature poured into a clean vessel which is free from all kinds of materials that prevent adhesion. 25 kg of Teknorep 400 SW in powder form is added into the vessel that filled with water. The material will be ready for use after 2 minutes mixing with a low-speed stirrer until a homogeneous mixture without lumps is obtained. After the reaction of the material complete, it should not be mixed again with water.

Method for Application / Equlpments
Tekno AD primer that is used to merge old and new concrete can also be used on the application surfaces. The prepared slurry can be applied with a trowel or by spraying. The applications of more than 40 mm thickness should be performed layer by layer.

Application Notes / Restrictions
• If water leakage exists, it should be stopped by using Teknoplug.
• The application surface should be protected from sunlight, rain and dust during 1 day and the application should not be performed under direct sunlight.
• Before the application, the surface should be wetted until it saturates. It is important that the surface should be moist but not wet during the application.
• The slurry should be applied immediately after mixing.
• The cor ners and joints in the application area should be filleted again with Teknorep 400 SW.
• The slurry should be applied completely in 20 minutes. Inappropriate conditions such as high temperatures, low humidity and wind may decrease the operating time of the material. If this time limit exceeds, the slurry should be thrown away.
• After the application is complete, the applied areas should not be used or coated during 7 days.
