Product Description
Emulsion polymer based, high performance, slip resistant, ready to use paste adhesive with extended open time for the installation of ceramic tiles on walls and floors.

Uses
• In inner areas for vertical applications.
• In the adhesion of ceramics, tiles, glass mosaics.
• In the adhesion of gypsum-plasterboard, wooden surfaces, painted surfaces and gypsum-plaster walls
• In adhesion of ceramic on old coverings like ceramic tiles, mosaic and marble

Application Procedure
Surface Preparation:
• Application surface has to be clean, dustless, dry, strong and also in balance.
• Surface must be cleaned off all kinds of oil, grease and rust which can weaken adherence.
• No loose particles must be present. Crakcs should be repaired with TEKNOREP or TEKNOSELF

Application Method: Must be mixed before the application. TEKNOFAY 200 is applied on application surface with the flat side of the trowel. In an area that can be covered in 30 minutes, period of open waiting, TEKNOFAY 200 is applied by serrated side of trowel in single direction in uniform thickness. Rubber Mullet can be used in the adhesion of ceramics or tiles with different thicknesses. After ceramic or tile application, to fill the left joint gaps, TEKNO Yapi Kimyasalları Sanayi A.Ş. joint sealants must be used.

If the application time of adhesive has passed in this case, the adhesive is scraped off the surface and new adhesive is applied. To test it, fingers are pressed on the TEKNOFAY 200 paste type tile adhesive applied surface. If the adhesive smeared on the fingers, application of ceramics or glass mosaics is continued. If the fingers are clean, it means that the application time of adhesive has passed.

Storage condition: Must be stored in unopened original packing, between 5°C - 23°C and away from direct sunlight and in cool and dry environment protected from freezing.

Notes on Application / Limitations
• If environmental temperature is below +5 oC or over +30 oC in TEKNOFAY 200 application, then suitable temperatures must be waited for.
• TEKNOFAY 200 application should not be made in very hot, rainy or windy weather conditions.
• After the application, it hardens immediately. Hands and skin should be washed thoroughly in hot soapy water.
• Clean tools and equipment with clean water immediately after use. Once hardened, product can only be removed mechanically. In this case clean tools and equipment with TEKNOTİNER immediately after use.
